Classes offered in Standard, Veteran, and Junior Handler divisions
There will be two regular, two gamblers, two jumpers runs and one
JACKPOT* class.
Judges:
Roger Coor and Mike Willis
Entries will be
limited to 700 runs and will close whenever this number is reached.
Entries will be accepted with U.S.P.S. postmarks dated no earlier than
September 2nd, 2008 and no later than September 15th, 2008, after which
entries may not be accepted or cancelled. Move ups will be accepted if
received via email by October 27, 2008.

Entry fees: $18 per run, $110.00 for all
runs.
Prizes and rosettes will be awarded for 1st through 7th
place in each class for each jump height (dogs optionally jumping 24”
will be grouped for placements with the 20+ class). Placements for
Junior Handler Division classes may be combined (i.e., 16”/16”+/20”,
20”+/24”) by jump height within each level. Ribbons & prizes will be
offered to every dog obtaining a qualifying score. The JACKPOT class
will have placements for 1st through 7th and cash
prizes. It will not be a qualifying class.
HIGH IN TRIAL AWARDS
will be calculated using the formula outlined in Section 2.6.4.2 of the
ASCA Agility Rulebook.
This trial will be held at the South
Point Casino, in the Outdoor Arena on packed dirt. Set up space may be

NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS:
This event will be held in accordance
with the rules and regulations of the Australian Shepherd Club of
America (ASCA). Exhibitors, through submission of entry,
acknowledge that they are knowledgeable of the rules and regulations of
ASCA and agree to abide by all rules in effect at the time of this
trial. A copy of ASCA’s Agility Rulebook may be downloaded free from the
ASCA web site:
www.asca.org. Entries will not be accepted from anyone disqualified
from the ASCA Agility/all ASCA programs and/or anyone not in good
standing with ASCA. Entries will be accepted on the basis of those
received on each day. On any given day that the trial would fill with
the entries received that day, the entries that were received on that
date will be drawn at random to the point at which the trial is filled.
If the trial is not able to accommodate all who wish to enter, a waiting
list will be kept of those desiring to be on it in the order of received
dates with random draw for the order within each date. Signature
required items will not be accepted. For immediate
confirmation of receipt, please enclose a self addressed, stamped
postcard with your entry. Confirmation of entries will be made after
the close of entries via email. Please make sure your email address
will accept attachments. Contact Marilee or Sue if you do not receive
entry information by October 15th.
No
entry will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by
reason of riot, civil disobedience, fire and act of God, public
emergency, and act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond the
control of the organizing committee. There will be no refunds for
entries withdrawn after the closing date, or in the event a dog and/or
handler are dismissed from competition, regardless of the reason for
such dismissal. Checks not honored by the bank do not constitute a valid
entry. There will be a $25.00 service charge for returned checks.
Bitches in season will not be allowed to compete and may receive a
refund, less a $20 handling fee, if notification is received via email
prior to November 1st.
*JACKPOT Class: Cash prizes will be awarded as follows:
1st place $100, 2nd Place $75, 3rd
Place $50, 4th Place $40, 5th – 7th
$25. Course will consist of tunnels and a short set of weave poles. No
jumps or contacts. All dogs will compete head to head and time plus
